This year’s theme is Always Bet on Green, so join us as we look back on the great year we had in 2016. Come celebrate our company’s accomplishments and help us recognize the outstanding performances of our agents and teams.

We will be joined this year by special guests Sherry Chris, CEO of BHGRE and Steve Lacy, Chairman and CEO of Meredith Publishing. After the ceremony, we will have a social hour complete with food and beverages, as well as photo and selfie opportunities with some historic Las Vegas icons. Please RSVP by Thursday, February 2. Zap Update

Get Ready For Zap

Zap is a lead management system designed to create simplicity and drive results. Zap provides a ZapScore for each client measuring the contact’s online activity and engagement level to help you know how active your contact is and whether your contact may be ready for you to reach out.

Zap was voted the #3 Tech Tool for Real Estate in 2016 by Inman Magazine

What does this mean? Zap trainers will be in town starting February 15-17. We will send out sign-up sheets for you to choose a day and time to attend a training session. Please attend your weekly sales meetings each week to learn additional details leading up to the launch.

We are very excited about the new features and mobile capability that Zap brings. We know that this will give us the competitive advantage in our Kansas City Market. Stay tuned each week for more details.

Hopefully you have had a chance to start your pre-launch training packet. This will help you prepare for the on-site training taking place Feb. 15-17. Marketing is finalizing details and will be sending out sign-ups sheets. Each agent must attend one session which is a 2 hour hands on training session.

A common question I am getting is “How are we going to tell our clients about the new site or about zap?” please stress to your agents that Zap is only the backend of the site. To a consumer searching for homes it is simply a new website. As for potential sellers we can explain to them how Zap works and how our agents are receiving leads on their listing.

 

Marketing will be providing the following:

  • New online creative for our SEM [Search Engine Marketing] campaigns
  • Postcards for our agents to send to their COI about “A Better Way to Search”
  • Facebook advertising from a corporate level
  • Images to be used in email campaigns from agents
  • I am also working on a few avenues for an external media campaign to let the public know about our new site
  • Listing presentation materials explaining zap

Please be patient with these materials they will be coming as soon as we can get them completed. Our goal is to have everything we need by the first of March. I would like to launch our new brand campaign with the Spring Market.

Below are important dates to note. I will also include these dates in our Marketing Update.

Important Dates:

Feb. 1 Contact data from MyHome Search and MyHome Sale will be imported into Zap

Feb. 17 One final data import will be sent over however will not update any changes made since

Feb. 1 will only import new contacts will be updated since the last 17 days

Feb. 20 Agents will no longer be able to enter new clients into EVantage programs however existing clients will still have access.
