Keep Those Pics Coming! Submit Your Pics for the Year End Event Video

2018 is quickly nearing its end. That means the marketing department is hard at work planning our annual year-end celebration and producing the recap video. We need all your photos from gatherings, office events, social occasions, fundraisers, and basically any time your agents and staff got together in the past year. We want to showcase as many people as we can from all the offices, so the more pics we can get, the better! To make it easier to share your pics with us, we’ve created a folder on Google Drive where you can just drop in your image files. Get those pictures in now so we can create the best video yet!

One final touch: Sold Homes You worked hard to close that listing. Take one final action by showcasing your achievements with Sold Homes. From My Website, access the tab My Sold Homes. Sold Homes will be turned on for all agents and teams, and we’ll display your closed listings automatically. If you’d prefer to hide this feature, you can always toggle it off from My Website.

MLS Fine Holiday

Please search your listings on MLS!

Just when you thought the holidays were over, HMLS has a new holiday on the calendar!  HMLS is giving you a fine holiday to correct any missed status changes on property listings!

Beginning at 12:01 am on Sunday, January 6, 2019 and ending on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:59 pm, you may update your HMLS property listings without any fines being generated for the late entry of new listings or the entry of status changes on your current listings.  The reason for this holiday is to give you the opportunity to review all of your listings and make sure everything is up-to-date, especially your listings where a sale has closed.

This fine holiday applies only to the entry of new listings and status changes and does not apply to non-compliant placement of wording, etc.  (All changes must be completed within this time frame to avoid a fine.)

Relocation Opening

Patty Rush will be leaving Kansas City Homes effective December 31, 2018.  We are incredibly grateful for her years of service to the relocation department and our organization.  Patty joined Kansas City Homes as an agent in 2002.  Patty has been an integral part of the corporate relocation team since 2005.  She will be missed, especially her quick wit and her funny stories. We wish her all the best in the future.
We will be posting the job description for the relocation department opening by the end of the week. Should you have any questions or know any candidates that would be interested in joining the team, please reach out to me.

Killing it in 2019

The attachment to your sales agenda is yet another piece on customer service. Why do we continually bring up customer experience? We all know that our industry has experienced a series of disrupters. Zillow, Redfin, Opendoor are examples of change in our industry. The amount of company dollar in a transaction continues to go down but expectations of agents are still there to provide tools and valuable services. So where do we stand? our company “why” is to inspire our community to be better. Our community is not only our BHG agents but our real estate community. Lets discuss how we currently do that and how we can improve.
