BHG KC has added two VERY IMPORTANT CE Classes that will be held in the Northland area.   The details are below:

August 1          Behave Yourself:  The Code of Ethics

                        3 Elective Hours for KS and MO (also satisfies your NAR requirement – Deadliine 12/31/18)

                        Instructor:  Fran Cashion

August 1          Agency Options (KS and MO Required Salesperson Double CORE)

                        3 Mandatory Hours needed for license renewal for Kansas and Missouri

                        Instructor:  Elaine Cavener

                        Where:  MidAmerica Nazarene University  (Upstairs from the BHG Liberty office)

                                    1:00pm – 4:00pm

 

Even though the classes are on the KCH Agent company calendar and anyone can register for them, only the Platte and Liberty offices are receiving this email, so please take advantage of these classes in the Northland and register right away.  The only way to register for these classes is to go to the KCH Agent website and follow the instructions below.   

 

1)  LOG IN to KCH Agent

2)  At the Company Calendar on the right, scroll to the month/day of the class you wish to attend

3)  Click on the day of the month that the class is being offered

4)  When you click on the day the class will appear on the left side of the company calendar

5)  Click on RSVP Now! Button

6)  You will be able to see how many spaces are still available,  put 1 (for yourself) in the box under the RSVP

7)  ****(very important step)*****Click Confirm RSVP and you will receive a confirmation email for the class at the same time, I will receive an confirmation that you have registered and will add you to my roster for that particular class.  If for some reason you do not get an email confirmation, you are NOT registered for the class.

In short, here are few “to-dos” to keep you contracts in compliance in you are dealing with escalatory offer (either for a buyer or seller):

•          The escalatory offer addendum is a part of the contract and needs to be included as such (i.e.: needs to be denoted on page 2 of the base contract).

•          If the offer is consummated, a counter offer does need to be executed with the new purchase price.

•          The escalatory clause remains a part of the contract even though a counter offer will reflect the final agreed upon sales price (i.e.: the escalatory addendum doesn’t ‘drop off’).
