Clay/Ray Counties

Clay/Ray County sales were up for the month by 24.8% from 2014. Units were at 504 versus 404 last year. Year to date, unit sales are up 20.0%, with 3,389 units this year versus 2,823 last year. The average sales price for the month was up 4.6% from last year, with an average price of $193,996. Year to date, the average price is up 3.6% from last year. The average price is $178,903, versus $172,622 last year. New listings were up 31 units to 597 or 5.5% from last year’s 566 units. Inventory is down 16.6% from last year and is running at 1,684 units. Inventory is down 8 units from last month.

Platte County

Platte County sales were up for the month by 18.8% from 2014. Units were at 202 versus 170 last year. Year to date, unit sales are up 17.7%, with 1,422 units this year versus 1,208 last year. The average sales price for the month was down 11.6% from last year, with an average price of $212,654. Year to date, the average price is down slightly from last year. The average price is $219,568 versus $219,613 last year. New listings in PlatteCounty were up 29 units to 293 units. Inventory decreased 15.0% from last year and is running at 797 units. Inventory is down 3 units from last month.


Sales for the entire Heartland area were at 3,501, up for the month by 16.8%, or 504 units. The average price was up 3.4%, and averaging $211,373. Year to date, sales were up 13.7% or 2,871 units for a total of 23,751 for 2015. The average price for the year is running at $202,308, up 6.2% from 2014’s average of $190,495.


Listing Workshop

KCH is planning two panels focused on listings.  The first will be Wednesday, September 16 and the second will be Thursday, September 17.  Both will be from 10-11:30 in the College Blvd. training room, and will feature Susan Bowers, Sherri Hines and Anita Fichman on Wednesday, and Sue Ellen Dice, Robbie Smart, Leslie Feeback and Carol Chartrand on Thursday.
